Combination Setting Instructions

Grecian Design Doors – 1 dial

If doors are to be cleaned do this before setting combination.

1. Look at the back of door while setting the combination.
2. Turn dial on front 3 times around to the RIGHT.  Stop when the right side of the combination wheel notch next to the front of the door is the 6 o’clock position.

Record the dial letter from the front of the door.

3. Turn the dial to the LEFT and stop when the middle combination wheel has the notch in the 6 o’clock position – same as first dial.

Record the dial letter from the front of the door.

4. Turn the dial of the right – stop when inside combination wheel is in the same position as the other two with the notch at the 6 o’clock position.  All three wheels should have the notch in the same position.

Record the dial letter from the front of the door.

5. Turn opening knob or latch to LEFT to open.

EXAMPLE:  First letter A – Second letter C – Third letter H

Turn dial to Right three times and stop on A.

Turn dial to Left PASS the letter C and around to C again.

Turn RIGHT and stop on H.

Turn opening latch to LEFT to open.

If you are setting combinations for the 1-8 (single dial eagle or flying eagle) then you start with the top wheel and work your way down to the bottom wheel.
