If door is to be cleaned – do this before setting combination.
On the back of the door there are 4 combination wheels.
1 wheel on the back of each combination dial and 2 wheels are in the middle.
Each one of the middle wheels has a notch in them.
Turn the right dial so that the notch lines up with the piece on the slide bare, then turn the left dial so that the notch lines up with the top wheel.
Turn the door over so that you can look at the dials and determine what the combination is.
For instance: the whole letter (we will use the “A” as an example) is under the shortest line over the letter. The line going towards the next letter would be designated as “A1”. The next line (which is the longest line between the letters) would be designated as “A2” and the next line would be designated as “A3”.
The “J” and the “L” are off center, but you still use the shortest line over the letter as the “whole letter”.
